What is a Citrix client and how do I get one?

We host our applications in a Citrix environment. To be able to access applications on our system you will need to install the Citrix client.  This software takes mouse movements, button clicks along with keyboard input and sends it to our system, in turn our system sends images of the applicatiuon to your screen.

If you have an up to date client installed and a connection to the Internet you will probably soon start to forget that your application is actually running in our data centre...

If you do not have a suitable client installed  you will be informed by the 'Message Centre' when you have logged in. Along with the warning will be a link to a suitable client and also one to the Citrix web site where you can download their latest and greatest.

Note: If you have problems installing the Citrix client it is probably because you have been restricted from doing so.  A quick word with your local IT support should help you out with this, we would also recommend you speak to your local IT guys if you use Citrix to access any other applications.
