Dr David Selby
David Selby, BSc, PhD, has spent all his working life in the pharmaceutical industry, mostly in roles requiring knowledge of GMP and the regulatory environment. After some years in research and development at Glaxo, he moved to international GMP compliance auditing before becoming responsible for the manufacturing of tablets, and then antibiotics at the Glaxo site in Co. Durham, UK. He is a founding member and chairman of the GAMP Forum and until recently was chairman and a director on the International Board of ISPE. He continues to serve on a number of ISPE councils and committees. In 1998 he established his own consultancy, Selby Hope International, Ltd., specializing in the compliance of computerized systems and automated equipment used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. He also serves on the Technical Advisory Board of Aegis Corporation Inc. |

Lord Tony Berkeley
Lord Berkeley is Chairman of the Rail Freight Group, the representative body of the UK rail freight industry. He was Public Affairs Manager of Eurotunnel from 1981 until the end of construction of the Channel Tunnel in 1994 and, before that, worked for George Wimpey on a number of multi-discipline projects around the world. Lord Berkeley sits in the House of Lords from 1994, firstly as a hereditary peer and latterly as a life peer, and was an opposition Transport Spokesperson 1996-7. He is an Alternate Member of the European Energy and Transport Forum, and a Steering Group member of the European Rail Freight Customer Platform A Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Transport. Lord Berkeley is President of the UK Marine Pilots Association. |

Adrian Lyons CBE FCILT, (Former) Director General, The Railway Forum.
Appointed Director General of The Railway Forum in January 2001 - formerly an MOD strategic planner and logistician, and a career Army officer reaching major general. Wide experience of Whitehall, developing PFI/PPP, creating and running Next Steps Agencies and a number of Defence Reviews. His last job at the MOD was Director General Defence Logistic Support. Adrian Lyons was appointed Director General of The Railway Forum, the industry wide think tank and lobby group, in January 2001. He was formerly a Ministry of Defence strategic planner and logistician as well as a career Army officer, reaching the rank of major general. His final appointment was to set up and lead the unified Defence supply Chain organisation. His interest in new power technologies was reinforced in the early 90s when amongst other jobs he managed the Army's vehicle fleet (less the armoured vehicles). He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. |
